Haad Tian Beach Resort is the only resort at Haad Thien Beach on the northwest of Koh Phangan, about 20 minute to drive from Thong Sala by motorbike or car.

We loved it. The thai family that own it make it so special. You feel like part of the family. The place is beautiful....but really I don t want to tell too many people.

n a very party oriented city like ko phangan, it was nive to stay away from the center, surrounded by peaceful beaches and nices places to eat. The hotel facilities are spacious and intimate, leaving you with plenty of private moments in the beach or in the pool.

Restaurant was nice, much variety, with a inconsistent quality though, but is really inviting because you can seat in front of e swimming pool. It is a 7 out of 10. Beautiful sunsets, and lovely staff. It is a hoel that invites you to stay there mostpf the time, because the road to get in and out of there is a tough one, and beause the place is so comfortable and cosy. The room is minimalistic, but it suits the environment. Staying indoors is the last thing you want to do in such a nice environment.

Great place to relax after a full moon party

Stayed in a nice little beach hut. First impression were not very good but we grew to like the small room as we loved the chilled environment and beautiful location. Room was small with very large bed and wet room. Tv didnt feature any english speaking channels except fox sport, not this was really needed here. Hammock on porch of beach hut.
We had a deluxe room so our room featured air con, but this was too noisy to use during the night. The room didn't feature many facilities, like a fridge. Staff/family who run the place are very nice. The main reception/pool area/restaurant/bar is nice. Very good food. Music played during night which gets you in the mood for the full moon party.
The hotel is the opposite end of the island to which the full moon party beach is on. The taxi is very long, especially after the party. But the hotel is a great place to relax during the following days.

A nice resort but horrible dirt road down to the resort and not the best location.

Stayed here 3 nights in the cheapest bungalow right on the beach with a great view!
The staff were friendly and the pool felt nice after a hot day.
If you are not renting a scooter you are going to feel very isolated, the sand on the beach was stoney and there is a dirt road down to the resort from the main road which is the worst i have ever seen and not pleasent to drive down on when its dark with the scooter.

Altough we had an good say becaus of the pool.

The resort is very private. The beach is small but beautiful and the sea view from our room was wonderful. The location is good if you have transport, or don't mind a good walk. The food is good. The swimming pool is an added bonus and there is a good bar. The staff are helpful but unobtrusive and this is the perfect place to spend time reading books in one of the many hammocks, listening to the sound of the sea or sunbathing on the beach.

The room was not very clean. The road leading down to the resort could be a bit tricky for some, but for us, it simply meant that the resort felt secluded and "off the grid". Internet provision is limited to the restaurant.

a private hotel, relaxing location, comfortable bungalows with hammocks

Haad Tian Beach Resort is a perfect hotel to stay. Good for couples & families. You can relax in a hammock in the beach garden while reading an interesting book. Or you can have fun with friends in the nice swimming pool. The only downfall to this location is that the beach is not very good for swimming because of sea hedgehogs. There are plenty of bars & local restaurants there. All in all, very lovely.
